Sarah Birdwell

Co-Owner/LBA

Sarah graduated from East Tennessee State University with a bachelors of Science in communication studies and a minor in communicative disorders in 2013. She attended Ball State University obtaining a Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis with an emphasis in Autism in 2016. Following her master’s degree, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Licensed Behavior analyst.  

In her free time: Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband Michael and their three kids Bowan, Carter, and Ada and spending time outside.

Wendi Minutolo

Co-Owner/LBA

Wendi received a Bachelors in Psychology from East Tennessee State University in 2013. She received a Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis with an emphasis in Autism from Ball State University. With this, became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst/Licensed Behavior Analyst in 2016. Wendi has been in the field of Behavior Analysis since 2013. She started out as a Registered Behavior Technician and upon passing the board exam moved to being a Behavior Analyst/LBA

In her spare time, Wendi enjoys spending time with her husband Chris, their children Everett, Jasper, and Peyton, and their two dogs.

Behavior Analysts

Shyla Taylor, LBA, BCBA

Shyla earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication and began her professional career in public relations and sales. Although she valued the experiences those fields provided, her passion for working with children and families came from her personal experience: her son’s autism diagnosis which inspired her to pursue a career in ABA. 

She began her ABA career as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) working within the school system. She went on to earn her Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Ball State University in December 2023. Her professional training, clinical experience, and personal experience as a parent have all shaped her approach to ABA and client care.

Outside of work, Shyla enjoys attending church and spending time with her children and family. She is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and families and feels blessed to support them throughout their autism journey.

Occupational Therapist

Carson Johnson MS, OTR/L

With nearly a decade of experience working in pediatric occupational therapy settings, Carson is passionate about helping children build the skills and confidence needed to help them thrive in life. She has a special interest in sensory integration and enjoys creating individualized therapy experiences that are engaging and meet each child where they are.

The most rewarding part of her work is watching children overcome challenges, achieve their goals they once thought were out of reach, and helping them celebrate along the way. She believes therapy should be encouraging, meaningful, and fun while also supporting each child’s unique strengths and abilities.

Outside of work, Carson enjoys spending time with her family, getting lost in a good book, and traveling to new places and making memories along the way.
